Workspace Design
A modular approach to workspace design using a selection of IKEA products within a standard 10' x 10' space.
Using the same selection of Ikea furniture, 4+ configurations were created for use in a 10' x 10' office space.
The 3D space planning was done in SketchUp and then rendered with lighting effects.
Each employee could select from an approved set of final configurations the layout they desired. A purchase list accompanied each configuration, and varied very little from one configuration to the next. This satisfied the budgetting and planning needs of management while allowing the employees to experience personal freedom in their choice of their own workspace.
